starting at 8:30am and wrapping up at 4pm.
Keynote
Pete Van Mullem is the director of Sport Coach America, editor-in-chief of PHE America, and a professor at Lewis-Clark State College. He has over 14 years of professional experience in coaching and administrative positions at the middle school, high school, small college, NCAA Division II and Division I level. He currently serves on the Editorial Board for the International Sport Coaching Journal (ISCJ) and served as a member of the National Standards for Sport Coaches Revision Task Force (2017-2019).
Pete has authored over 40 publications related to coach development, which includes co-authorship on two books: To Be a Better Coach: A Guide for the Youth Sport Coach and Coach Developer and the National Standards for Sport Coaches.
Presentation topics include:
**Relationships with PE teachers and Coaches (Shared Space),
**Running classes unlike practices, infusing health in sport coaching and PE,
**Tracking health of students and/or athletes,
**Inclusive sport, classroom, and athletic environments,
**Managing health during COVID times, Reaching parents (health and support at home), **National Girls and Women in Sport Day,

**Athletic training and PE/Sport, setting vision/mission/goals in sport and PE,

Clock hours will be provided as will lunch.
